My 100% pre-pay for last year was $1.49.9/gallon. Truck was back late last week, $1.19.9/gal. We always get an August or Sept fill then start the contract. Bet we only need 50-60 gallon this year. Gasoline prices are supposed to drop in the coming weeks, hope LP does too.
Wish I could find a 1000 gallon tank like Dad did. He tied two 1000 gallon tanks together, he'd buy LP about every two years. LP company says I use slightly over 950 gal/year, but was more like 1200-1300 last winter.
I swear my LP company is highest price around, but I keep them because the driver looks out for me. He dropped off 200 gallon @ $2.00/gal to get me by the $4-$5 LP a couple years ago, then filled when price came down. Plus if I need a service call they get someone here in a couple hours.
