For what ever reason the engine temperature is running high. Could be the sensor. Could also be not enough or too much antifreeze in the system or it might be low on coolant. The only way to know is with a hydrometer. The radiator might also need to be flushed out. Look in the radiator and see if there is any krud accumulated on the fins.
