Thanks Randy! I think I've got this but will call you if I run into trouble. Planting is a bit easier with markers but it wasn't too much of a trial. If that line rusted out once then likely I will just replace it. I hate doing the same repair twice and this sounds like a likely candidate. I chased those mice out of there two years running but have not seen one in a few years. They used to run out of everywhere as soon as I pulled out of the shed but between cats, traps and periodic blasts of air into the tube it seems to have discouraged them. I do stay after them. I am on rain delay for the repair. Has to be done outside and this planter has not seen a drop of rain since I rebuilt it back....well, you remember.
