Alberta, thanks for reminding me of those important features. Unfortunitly no known example of the Tridirectional exists today and there are no known pictures of one. There was, however, an article published in a small town newspaper in northern Wisconson. It was an interview of farmer who leased one in the Spring of 1902. He stated that he leased a Tidirectional for a period of three years during which it required no refueling or servicing of any kind. He said that during that period he farmed two other farms as well as his own. He was allowed to visit the factory. He does not remember the trip but does remember the factory very well. It was in a large dome that covered fifty acres or more and there were no workers, all was completely automated. He wanted to continue the lease but the Essex Co. would not continue it.
