Poppin, An exaust brake and engine brakes are two differant guys. The exaust brake works by shutting off the exaust. Available for all light duty trucks. Jake and Cummins got together and made one for the Dodge Cummins. I have one of those and they work wonderful. I came off a hill with three "B" JDs on a trailer and used very little foot brakes. They are not noisy. Just a little bubbly sound. The engine brake is only available in the big trucks. They are very noisy.(I love to hear them coming out off the mountains with a load of logs. Neat oh.) Although Cat has one that is very quiet. Engine brakes aren't available in pickups. Later
