I'll put it this way: I graduated from a state university in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Education with a minor in Animal Science and the only job I could find was installing pop-up sprinklers and cutting grass at minimum wage. It was several years before I got above minimum wage and that was two jobs later. I'm not real nostalgic for the '80s.
