I'd start off with a utility tractor like an Ford 8N....except they are overpriced simply because the demand is so high. For that reason I'd go with a Fergeson To20 or To30 because you can probably get a better deal dollarwise for the same type of machine...and you can still get service and parts. I own a Fergie 2135, Ford 8N, Allis-Chalmers WD, Case VAC, Allis-Chalmers B, Farmall 'A', John Deere Model 40, and in terms of ergonamics, the 8N/2135 are tops by far. They are lightyears ahead of the others.
