For your children or grandchildren's sake, dap a little high temp anti-sieze on the threads before assembly.
Turn the carb heat valve every month or two to keep it freed up. If used for cool weather, light loads, parades or just putting around. The heated intake reduces engine wear, fuel consumption & increases engine life.
