The zero turn mowers are very handy- most of the time. I was excited about buying one for my lawn. I have about 50 trees I mow around so that looked like just the ticket for me. My dealer tried to talk me out of it because I have a slight sidehill on part of the lawn and another portion of it that can be mowed straight up and down, but I was insistent so he let me try one. He was right. They are virtually uncontrollable on any kind of a hill, particularly a sidehill. Handy in the right circumstances, but I would recommend them only if your lawn is level.
