He built some turbine outfit that he said would revolutionize tractor pulling and replace the pulling sled. He had it at a local pull in Crystal one time. It had a big turbine,a pair of 30.5 32 tires on it and an old ammo box on the back of it. It would spin the turbine while you were pulling and there was something in that ammo box that gave a digital readout. I don't know if he ever took it anywhere else or not. They pulled a couple of classes with it but it wasn't very well accepted. It didn't make for a whole lot of smoke and noise.
