Big dollar iron parade went past awhile ago, two big JDs pulling big JD planters and a few minutes later another tracked JD pulling a Horsch planter, never seen anything like it, looked like a big black and red box with coulters sticking out of the top. When it got closer and went past it looked more like a planter. This time of the year I see a lot of stuff go by one direction and a few days later they're going the other way, wonder how many miles some of those guys go. Saturday morning a JD 4840 was working a field across the road until the rain came and traction came to a hault. That field I think was about 130 acres and auctioned off last fall. This field joins another farm he bought a year or so ago.
