Duetz and Duetz-Allis had all their tractors air cooled, as well as the Gleaner combines during the merger. From what I hear they run well.

Johnny, have you ever seen a Wisconsin air-cooled v4 (or 2) cylinder engine? They are air cooled gas engines, ran all kinds of swathers & balers in their day, got up to 35 hp or so on some models I think?

Anyhow, lots of deep fins on the jugs, and shrouded tin controling the airflow from the fan controls the temp pretty well.
