Just to add a bit to what Bill has posted. Pumps do NOT put out any pressure, pumps put out flow. Restrictions create pressure in the system. Either the restriction of an orfice inline or the load on a cylinder being greater than the relief setting.
The other item to keep in mind, speed of a cylinder is flow, power is pressure.
