If it's an "RV" most states exempt RV's from complying with commerical DOT laws upto 80k. The best answer would be to call your local DOT and ask them as there's to many in's and out's. I always like to speak with a enforcement officer as He's the one that will issue the ticket if your a bad boy. Also most states have a DOT website to give you an idea of what to ask. T_Bone
