Channel 132 on Dish is Turner Classic Movies....no commercials...yipee!!! Lots of insights into yesteryear....even saw a 1938 Clark Gable movie the other day...well a few minutes of it....wink! Amazing what you say about: Nothing has changed there. Didn't realize how far current events have deep roots going wayyyyy back. I think current media sources, and volumes and volumes of those sources and viewing/listening devices gives us insight into what's going on now vs then. Convinced that has to do with our border problem and volume. Seems to me that you didn't know what you didn't have till you found out and wanted some of it.
