: I have a 1944 Allis Chalmers model "B" in need of a headlight switch. : It is inside the box that houses the amp meter. : All the way in charges the battery slightly, halfway out charges the battery even more : and all the way out turns on the headlights. : Where can I get a replacement switch like this? You can't get them new from anybody. However, there really isn't much to them. I took apart the switch on my G because it wasn't working. Cleaned everything up with a little WD-40 and now it works perfectly. All it is is a couple of little brass plates that make different contacts as they turn. Also, on the AC tractors, the middle position is lights on and all they way out is high charge. I know that John Deere tractors had a awitch like that in which all the way out was lights on...so maybe you have one of those on your tractor. The point is that on the original Delco switches on the Allis tractors you can bend the little metal tabs back and take the switch apart and clean it and I'll bet it will work for you.
