look close at the last picture. the depth wheel behind the Farmall is flat. and the furrow wheel on the JD plow is way soft, but it doesn't show when the plow is in the ground. yes, the club provides insurance, fortunately, we have never had to use it. the ruts we left last year chopping made for some interesting looking plowing. we have a big disk which smooths things out. I could have done more acres in less time with the 6 bottom plow and buster bar, but that is not the point.
what makes it all worthwhile is at the end of the days, when a couple men shake my hand and say "thanks for letting us come and plow". BINGO!
