Bought another old Gasboy electric pump. Putting in a tank for gasoline so I don't have to make side trips with the trucks, and other reasons. Restored one of these a year ago...painted it green for my diesel tank. Then this one came up. Life plays with me. Going to take off the green and make it red. But the fella who had it wanted a lamp...not a pump. So he drilled a 3/8" hole in the top...I will spare you the pictures of it as a lamp...real ugly. It does work as a pump. Very well in fact. But I need to plug that hole and I am not a welder and would rather not pay to have it welded. On the other end of the spectrum I could just cut the head off a carriage bolt and epoxy it in the hole...or? Any suggestions?
