Hot the test plot in today. Most of my farm is no till except for a 10 acre spot where we held our antique plow days last fall. Made one pass Wednesday and another this morning with the cultivator and by late afternoon is seemed dry enough to plant. I usually put a test plot in with seed supplied by the corn dealers. 7 varieties in this plot of about 4 acres, took about 4 hours, a lot of switching seed, emptying the hoppers etc. but there was not much else to do since the no till ground is st lesst to warm and sunny days away from being ready. Sure was nice to have the cab tractor on the planter....about60 degrees and windy....even if the centre post blocked my view of the muffler!
