I use my '52 Ford F5 dump truck all the time, 50,000 original miles with a 96hp. flathead V-8. also use my '48 Ford F4 dump with flathead 6 engine, but it has the non syncro transmission and the clutch won't release so is hard to drive (for me anyway!) I think there might be something else wrong with the transmission because it is way to hard to shift without grinding gears, I use it too often to tear it apart though, has 30,000 original miles on it. I also drive a 1970 Chevy suburban, 100,000 orig. miles W/ 292 6 cyl. I really like the way it performs, I use it for hauling trailers mostly. Chris
