My SIL's brother tried pulling a fast one. Rented 160 tillable acres. Then without talking to the owner put in alfalfa. Owner figured out what he did and gave him notice in writing. SIL is a good man. His brother is a POS. Anyway he tried to lawyer up. Was kinda funny to watch form the sidelines. The brother? Dad even kicked him off the farm this past year.
But neighbor messing over long term grew up together neighbors is the norm here.
