The out of pocket inputs I have are basically a good mineral and give the does protein blocks in the Winter.I feed no grain as I have a lot of areas with 'goat' type forage. I usually have my does kid in early April by December when I sell mine usually the buck kids will be around 80lbs for the most part some are smaller type goat with mytonic blood and they will be smaller but usually bring very good per pound because they muscle well.To get near the top price the kid needs to be in good condition but not real fat as the fat on goats is thrown away they have fat much like a deer.
