John Deere is not pure. John Deere built a better plow way back when. Thats it. Period. Then the company bought out other companies and called them JD. JD tractors were formed from the Waterloo Boy.

International Harvestor used their own engine in someone else's chassis at first and then built their own entire line of tractors. IH had the first Farmall - literally meaning FARM ALL, they can do everything, belt, PTO, plowing, cultivating, harvesting, etc.

Stick with the facts, John Deere made a plow.
