Old fashioned farmer.I don't understand why you feel awkward about this post,I throughly enjoyed your post below and the replies it generated.I'm glad to hear from someone who realizes what farm equiptment was used for, farming.I use a combination of old and new equiptment,90 acres of hay stretches the ability of my JD-A and sickle bar mower just a little too far.It sure is fun to clip pastures and rake with it and the JD-M tho. Now,for parts for your binder, post this on the Combines and Harvestors board here at YT.I see several posts there about binders,I'm sure lots of people will be willing to help. The Amish still use binders,I have seen them at sales down here looking for them.I don't know if they would offer any suggestions on parts. Good luck, let us know when you get it running. BTW.Enjoyed your story about the'Counterfit House',hope it doesn't hamper your search, people may not want to take your cash.
