I have a 1964 Farmall 460 diesel that lost hydraulics so I have decided to dive in. I found both pedal shaft seals leaking excessively and the shaft on the clutch side is so damaged it has cut the seal. If I am taking the time to repair it I want to fix it right. I am having trouble removing the clutch pedal because of the wear on the shaft. How do I remove this shaft? I can not find a diagram for how to remove the shaft. It appears that I have to remove the top of the transmission. Any help and direction is appreciated.
