capt. I've got an M with the same loader and whenever it won't lift high enough usually adding more fluid to the resevoir results in more lift probably because I lose fluid past the cylinder seals same as you. My father-in-law who was a career hyd. mechanic says the squirting is caused by loose upper seals in the cylinders and not to worry about unless you want to spend the money for a rebuild.
