Started springs work today. Plowed up half of a 6 acre field. That side was run out 20 years ago, but when Jeff started farming he got enough manure on it to keep it going for 5 years. The other half still yields 3 cuttings, but the further side is hardly worth running the mower over after the first cutting. Had a small corner of it that nobody mowed for years and had brush and small pines on it. Cleared that away last Fall. Got it plowed today. Catching poplar roots with the plow a hundred feet into the field. High time to get it worked again. So that will be our big time farming operation for this spring. Lol!!!!!
