I remember when my dad brought home a 1940's model DC Case. Initially I thought it was the ugliest tractor that I ever saw with its chicken roost steering. At the time, I wondered why dad didn't buy a JD or a Farmall. Shortly afterwards we restored it and I grew fonder of this sturdy, flambuea red tractor. That was 30yrs ago and now I have a 1945 SC which is torn down now. Still keeping my eye out for an old DC. I picked my SC up at an auction and gave junk price for it. There are not many Case collectors around here.
