An IH Service Manual for a SuperC, though there must have once been one, is hard to come by. Some places will suggest the one for the As and Bs that is still very useful. As a first manual that is good for directions for adjusting lots of little things and maintenance specs, the Operator's Manual is more useful and easy to find. Binder Books is a source commonly recommended on this board. If your husband is apt to get into repairing anything major, I'd suggest two things -- 1)a parts book (great for exploded views that show how things are put together, and the part numbers are often really helpful!) and 2) the I&T Manual which has a lot of good detailed directions and illustrations for all of the letter series Farmalls and others. I got mine from Glen at Little Red Tractor Company. The folks at Binder and LRTC are both reliable and helpful, and their web sites are easy to navigate.
