Its been my experience blue smoke is oil, black smoke is fuel, white smoke is water, my guess is valve stem seals if if only does it when first started like if it has been sitting overnight, my pickup does the same thing and it wont use enough oil to notice any difference, personally I wouldn't worry too much about it if the engine is running good till it gets to smoking all the time
