you might find this unbelievable, but i bale 3 times a year on my 5 acre bahia grass field and "average" 20 4x4 rolls on each cutting. no fertlizer in the last 2 years either. the record amount to date is 28 rolls in one cutting in 1999.

i am in southern texas and we get plenty of rain and warm temps. i have seen some fields in this area that produce 60-75 sq, bales per cutting because of the type of grass. bermuda and tifton bermuda are very high producers here.
