I work at a state park where we have used over 30 kubota engines and tractors. We have never had an engine go down with under 6500 except ones over heated or the aircleaners knocked off. These engines are on mowers, power units, diggers, trenchers, tractors, mostly 3 cyl units. we still are using 2 with over 10000 hrs. These engines are abused by seasonal workers and in my opinion they are among the best small diesel engins made. I suggest you call the local distrubitor, as they are very proud of their name and if they have a problem they want to know about it. just my opinion john
