If you can find a true 24V isolated ground alternator than it's not real tacky to use it. The late 12/24v 3020/4020's used them. Kenneth at CLASSICGEN@aol.com can build a high output generator or alternator for your tractor. Just make sure the 12V loads on each side are balanced or grief will happen. The 12/24v system is similar to the 120/240V home power panal circuit. Any load that can be operated on the high voltage just works better for about 1/2 a dozen reasons.
