Alright all, I'm pretty nervous here as I bought a konskilde sbc 34' triple k cultivator with rolling baskets thinking my case 4490 would pull it all day long. Previously I was pulling 30 feet of 3 rank melroe multiweeder and you could hardly tell it was back there. I am starting to think I may have bitten off more then I can pull. I know that tractor data says the 4490 is 153 drawbar hp and 175 pto hp, but which is the right number to consider? Alot of machinery dealers claim these tractors were 200. I never used to really worry about it, but now I would like to know which number a fella should consider when making such purchases. PTO or drawbar?
