It can be done but there are a number of differences.
The 1845C came with a 4B Cummins
4B is natural aspirated.
4BT has a turbo.
A nephew has a Case W11 loader that came with a 188 Case engine, he swapped it over the a 4B Cummins but had the later model parts loader to get all of the necessary brackets, plumbing and linkage needed to make the swap.
