On a "wide front end" tractor the front axle pivots on one single point in the center of the front of the tractor making it not much more stable than a narrow front end. Weight hanging out in front taking weight off the back would certainly make it easier to roll. Many folks think a wide front is more stable and it may well be a little better, but tractors are not built like pay loaders. To get that sore of stability you would need a rear mounted loader. And I agree with every who advises adding weight and width to the back of loader tractors.
