My son and I went to Fredericksburg for the Hill Country Bluebonnet ride Saturday. The forecast was for rain/storms early then clearing and windy but warmer. After a 21/2 hr. storm delay we got started. Breaks in the clouds allowed for some warming but then the clouds thickened and the wind picked up to 35+ mph. the return trip directly into the gale was pretty miserable but the BBQ was good as always. The folks put a lot into planning this ride, it was a shame the weather turned against them. I got a few pics before my hands locked up.
