I had one of these blowers. You need horsepower for these to do a decent job. In order to throw the snow a good distance they have to be kept full unlike a fan model. I had a 105 hp tractor in front and did not have nearly enough power. Sold it to a guy with 140 hp and he gets along ok unless the snow is wet.
