Went to the breakfast joint for breakfast this morning. They have the best hash browns anywhere. Fried in real butter and browned on the outside. So I like a little pepper on my hash browns. But the pepper they have is coarse ground and the shakers are for fine ground. Means you have to unscrew the cap, pour some in your hand and sprinkle it on. I'm noticing this at almost every place I go anymore. Wondering what's up with it? Is rapacious owners trying to save money and get higher profits? Maybe pepper is bad for you? Rationing? Perhaps it's a conspiracy and the President and congress are behind it? Putin? A Google/Facebook deal? Maybe it's not real pepper but tiny listening devices that track you. I try not to get too triggered about small things but I'm wondering whatever happened to fine ground pepper...
