2x2 is common, those of us in the wet heavy ground can get by with a lot. Typically 100-150# that way no problem, I hear of some going 300# but man that�s a lot of refills.
If you are a sandy or drier part of the state go 3 or 4 out if you are putting heavier amounts on.
