I also have a late model 231 which is a great tractor, but still have my daddy's old 8N for fun.I wanted to tell everyone about a sweet combination that I just lucked up on. When I bought my 231, I also bought my wife a MF1240 with a 5 ft. Bushog finishing mower. When she lets me use it, I find that the mower is really well suited to the tractor. One sweet setup for lighter mowing. Finally, since this was an oil post, has anyone besides myself ever heard of bad reports for Quaker State oil? Some of the local mechanics have told me that the quality is not as good as others. Let me know if you have any info on this. Thanks and good luck Kevin.
