is there room for an ol flathead V8 FORD? there is all kinds of parts available new for them including blocks & cranks.might be kinda cool & there is that flathead sound too.just a idea.of course them coninental engines are pretty good.might be worthwhile checking to see if it is worth rebuilding.being you already own it.
