They had a JD 4450 for sale today. They called it a low houred tractor. 4400 hours or something like that. Good friend drove down just to bid on it. He said it was a good tractor BUT the tach. showed 1200 or 1600 hours. So it had been replaced. So who knows how many hours. Sold for $44,500 plus buyers fee. He was the nest to last bidder. I laughed my butt of at him.
Just two months ago a JD 4450 sold here locally. One owner with 100% known hours and dealer service records to prove the hours. He would not bid over $38K because he did not like the guy that owned it. LOL The guy was DEAD his widow was selling it.
So I think some like to brag about what they buy and where. I rarely say anything about what I buy because I might want to sell it down the road and what I gave is not the value at that time.
