Since all the crop ground is on partnership I buy some corn off a neighbor each fall that farms about 300 acres. Just have him haul straight to the mill and they grind and mix and fill my bulk bins. Last fall after I had used up my stock they were charging over $6 for corn that was around $3.40 market value. Neighbor treats me real good and only has to haul a few miles so he�s really happy but I could probably pay him around $5 a bushel and still come out ahead of the feed mill.
