well if its on that Minnie 706 then im thinking its about a 3 inch thread. so the best and proper way is to take it to a machine shop. I know recutting the 2 " threads on mccormicks is quite a job due to the hardness and carbon and metal still in the threads, plus this is a lot bigger! if you have not done this before, machine shop time . due it properly .
