: : I have a 25 year old Internation Model 440, 3 -16" bottom plow : : that I am probably going to have get rid of because I have no room for it. : : Does anyone out there have any idea how much such an implement is : : worth? : In the Lancaster Paper (eastern PA) they usually sell for $800 to $1500 depending on condition. The higher end of the range usually have coulters and cover boards. Small 3-pt plows are in demand here, though, since there are a lot of horticultural and vegetable operations that only need to plow a few acres a year. Bigger semi-mount plows often sell for less than good 3-bottom 3-pt. plow. Well the same is true here in southern Indiana with the 2 bottom plows selling for more than the semi mounts, but the cost is considerably lower here. A good 2 bottom will bring more than the 3 bottoms. The 2 bottoms will sell for $100-350, the 3 bottoms will bring $100-250, and the semi mounted 5-6 bottoms will probably bring more in scrap, the last ones I saw sell (JD 5-16) brought $110. Location, location, location...
