Good day out at the Tractor World Show and Sale in Edinburgh yesterday. All the 'usual subjects' were represented, but here are a few pics of things that caught my eye. The auction had mixed results. The Ferguson Brown made an eye-watering £28,000 ($37,000), the immaculate DB Cropmaster £6000 ($8000), the unusual Chamberlain £3000 ($4000), the Massey Harris Ferguson 820D was unsold at £2500 ($3300) (the auctioneer warned buyers that it was hard to start!), various MF 35s (running but scruffy, for restoration) made between £1500 and £2000 ($2000 to $2600). Huge auction crowd, no shortage of money for the right tractors!
