I wanted to see if there were any leaks in the cooling system after the radiator replacement so I fired up the Merc for the first time this spring. Everything looked good so of course I had to take it out of the shed for a brief run. Very brief though. There is a water/mud hazard at the entrance to my yard that needs another day or two of drying before I'd drive the Merc through it. So I had to be satisfied with just a brief circuit of the yard. Got to keep those flathead valves limbered up so they don't stick.:-)
