I'll be the odd man out. I'd replace them both with Cat 2. You can use bushings at either end to get the right fit. If you bent a Cat 1, you'll bend it again. Cat 2 should be a fair bit stronger. I'm not sure I'd trust an arm that had been bent at 45° and then bent back. Maybe the blacksmith guys could do it in a way to retain the original strength.
