That number rings a bell, I think in rebuilding the carb for my H there was a paper gage with 27/32 marked on it, as a gage to set the carb float height. There might be such a gage in the rebuild kit for your carb. BTW, the float for my H was already set at 27/32, so I didn't have to mess with it. To use the gage, as I remember I set the carb body upside down, with the float sitting there, and it was sitting at 27/32 above some other part.... don't remember exactly.
